How Tall Really is Tom Cruise

With his new movie, Valkyrie, just came out, it is really entriquing how tall he really is.

US Actor from Mission Impossible and Top Gun. The Biggest star in Hollywood has had terrible flak in the press for being 'short'. His height is regularly listed as being either 5ft 7 or 5ft 9, in 1988 he said "I have always been pretty much the same weight, 147 pounds - at 5 feet 9 inches". Ex-wife Nicole remarked in 2001, 'Now I can wear heels again'. She also said she was a couple of inches taller than him.

Though Richard Harris was quoted in Mirror Newspaper, 2001 saying "Tom Cruise is a midget and he has eight bodyguards, all 6ft 10in, which makes him even more diminutive. It's an absolute joke. Actors are unimportant."

From my research, his height is 5 ft 7.75 in (172 cm).
